Austin Square Medical Group was formed in 2007 by Gregory J. Facemyer, MD, FAAFP, in Dr. Facemyer's hometown of Austintown, Ohio. He designed it under the premise of developing a model for the modern-day Family Practice, which more clearly resembles the traditional nature of the old-fashioned Family Doctor. This viewpoint is often contrary to the complexity and depersonalization of the more modern Family Practice.  

The team at Austin Square Medical Group is focused on delivering comprehensive care, detailed history and  physicial exam,  thorough blood work and x-rays when medically necessary, accurate diagnosis and treatment, and regular follow-up appointments. 

Austin Square Medical Group offers expert care for all members of the family of any age group. The practice provides acute and chronic care management, well-child visits, annual physicals, Medicare physicals, and much more.

One of the major advantages of going to Austin Square Medical Group is that almost all  of your family’s Primary Care needs can be treated on-site. This includes such things  as: EKGs, home sleep studies,  pulmonary function tests, joint injections, and cryosurgery to name a few!
Another advantage is Dr. Facemyer still sees his own patients in the hospital to maintain better continuity of care. He doesn’t leave your care to others.

Your independence is of the utmost importance at Austin Square Medical Group, and so is cost. By still seeing an independent, non-hospital employed medical provider the overall cost to the patient is lower.
